Liquor Licenses Are Essential for Hospitality Businesses, Protect Yours!
Establishments that serve alcohol face issues that involve their employees, customers, community and business. Under Article 2B of the Maryland Annotated Code licensed establishments must complete 3 hours of Alcohol Awareness Training. Our program is approved by the Comptroller of Maryland (Program #AP-66466) The program provides training that can reduce the risks inherent in the service of alcohol and benefits all concerned. We utilize training for your front of the house staff and management that is practical, comprehensive, and knowledge based. We address the issues they need to know to serve alcohol responsibly. Lessons are reinforced with guides, charts, and real-world examples to make concepts much easier for staff to put into practice.
Servsafe food manager training and test proctoring
The ServSafe® Manager Certification Training Program is recognized by more federal, state and local jurisdictions than any other food safety certification. This course will help food service managers apply critical food safety practices with employees and to every meal you serve. The ServSafe® Manager course ensures that you:
- Protect the public’s health and safety in your food service establishment.
- Understand current food safety policies and procedures.
- Implement effective employee training programs.
- Keep your operation in compliance with all applicable public health regulations.
Manager Food Safety Certifications must be renewed every 5 years.
The ServSafe® Manager Certification Exam must be taken under the supervision of a registered ServSafe® Proctor.
haccp design and consultation
JNF Consulting will write your HACCP Plan, train you, help with implementation, and stay with you until your HACCP Plan is approved.
- All facilities classified as “high” or “moderate” need a HACCP Plan. Generally, these facilities serve unwrapped potentially hazardous foods.
- A HACCP plan must be submitted and approved by the Health Department before food service begins.
- HACCP plans must be current and submitted to Health Department when the following occur:
- Any time a menu change occurs, or
- A CCP change occurs (i.e. soup is no longer commercially prepared, it is made at the restaurant), or
- If regulatory updates change the approved critical limits
- At least every 5 years, if no changes have been made
